Final Warning – 1.50 Updates.

Now that the Uploader supports 1.50 builds, I have started to push out my mod updates. As a reminder, please sell any of your owned SDC trailers prior to the mod update. While the game shouldn’t crash, I can’t promise that it won’t. So removing them first will save you the hassle of downgrading the game to fix any potential issues.

1.50 & The Trailer Pack

So I’ve finally got myself back to a point where I feel V9 of the trailer mod is ready to go. The SDC trailers are now separated into their own section and will appear in the own group in game. Although I think it’s ready to go, I won’t be updating it until SCS release game update 1.50 – I may do it during Open Beta or I until the full release is out.

For mod users I highly suggest deleting any owned SDC trailers from the mod that are in your garage before updating game version/mod. In theory there shouldn’t be any crashes, but I can’t guarantee it and the old versions will have multiple issues and missing things.

This change does mean any custom skins for these SDC trailers will need def updates to work again. For those of you who have your own skins or modders who have made public skins the folder change is as follows:

Instead of /def/vehicle/trailer_owned/ijs.curt/

The new location will be /def/vehicle/trailer_owned/ijssdc.sdc/

The body names for the SDC/SDR/SDQ will remain the same however the standard size curtain will now be ijs_sdc_n and the new aeroliner body will be ijs_sdc_a.

Other changes will include removed parts that I feel no longer belong on the standard trailers such as the exclusive aero skirts from SDC (though the standard one will remain).

As for the future of the mod; those of you on my FB group already know I am working on a custom food tanker, it’ll have similar options to the existing trailers. I also plan to retrofit rear bumpers to match how the SDC ones now work (separate bumper/lights/number plates).

From here my plan is to start updating my combo mods that contain SDC skins so that they can all be updated along with the the trailer mod for those that use them.

Updates and releases

Now that SCS have finally released the new MAN 2020 I have several updates going live as well.

First up we have a big update for the Truck Accessory Pack to include numerous new parts for the MAN. Part list and templates will be posted on the Steam Workshop page as soon as this post goes live.

In other news I have several paint job additions for the new MAN in the following mods:

McBurney, H Essers, Glendinning (x3), Big Malcolm Mod.

YPO also has had an update to include skins on all the MAN versions and is now a Steam mod and we also have a new addition: Handy Woman which includes a skin for the 2020 and Euro 6 models.

Green Group

Well I wasn’t really planning on two updates today, but as it turns out I spotted an issue with the mod while I was double checking another mod I am working on.

So I’ve fixed the model bug with the shadows, updated the mod for 1.44 (shop icon) and for 1.45 (mp optional mod) and moved it to the Workshop.

Humber Ports

After many years of absence Humber Ports returns updated with new content.

And AI Combo.

Bartrums Haulage Public Re-Release

A little later than planned because I was too lazy to make the workshop icons. But after several years of absence the mod returns with a much needed rework and contains the following:

One skin for DAF e6 medium cab.
3 trailer skins for both SCS and my custom trailer Curtain.
1 trailer skin for my custom Double Deck.
2 trailer skins for freight market and AI.
AI Mercedes both old and new models.
2 Tipper Skins

Glendinning & Updates

Today’s sees a new release along with two updates.

First up we have Alan Glendinning, an older mod that was previously only a truck skin now comes with multiple skins for trucks and owned trailers along with AI traffic.

More 1.45 Updates

As mentioned previously I have been working bulk updating mods for 1.45 where they are affected by changes coming in my Custom Trailer mod.

Today sees the final batch released. Those of you who follow my mods on Steam will likely know I’ve been updating them the last couple of days, for the rest of you see the list below for what is new.

Bulk Updates

Several mods have been updated on Steam Workshop, in most cases these have been to tweak owned trailer skins for my Custom Trailer mod to support the changes coming in the next version.

Other tweaks may also have been made to fix old minor issues. A full list of updated mods can be seen below.

Over the coming days there will be another batch of updates for “new to the workshop” mods before I finally push out the new trailer mod update.

Are now all available on Steam Workshop. All of these mods (except Yorkshire Tea) are now Workshop exclusives. Yorkshire Tea will remain on the blog and workshop.

American Sweets combo has also been updated but will remain a blog exclusive due to the fact it was made by request of the original company owners.
